Candelabra General Trading LLC

A multinational organization with a Global Commodity Trade house and was incorporated in the United Arab Emirates as an International office for our operations in Sudan, Africa in general.

Since then we have expanded our interest to Middle East Regions, West Africa, India, China, Italy and Far Eastern Europe as a Private Consultancy specializing in the fields of “Import & Export “and “Agro-Products”. We are not only an intermediary where the Buyer and Seller have to be in direct contact but under several occasions we also act as Third Party, a Consultants and/or Agents where we get involved on Private Sector Projects and do the tendering in-house. It goes without saying that in such instances Candelabra would also become involved financially where we receive the Financial Instruments from the Buyer and forward the same to the Seller.

Import/Export

Our forte lies in our long experience in the trading of Gum-Arabic, Sesame Seeds, Hibiscus Flowers, White Sorghum “Dura “, Crude Groundnut Oil, Peanut Valencia and Spanish, Senna pod, Watermelon Seed coal and other products of African countries such as Sudan, Ethiopia, Uganda, Nigeria, etc…

Shipping

This has given us an extensive knowledge in documentation, shipping, insurance, clearing agents and customs. We have exported Alfalfa and Sesame Seeds out of Ethiopia, Sudan, and we also Import Wheat, Wheat Flour, Sugar, Coffee Beans, and Sun Flower Oil (both refined and unrefined) in large quantities for most of the African countries listed above.

Agro-Products

We participated in several tenders for the supply of plants for animal food (Alfalfa), fertilizers (UREA), as well as high quality tropical fresh fruits such as mango and banana and most vegetables hardly found in Europe in winter season, and also engaged in the physical trading of natural meat and animal skins.

SESAME SEEDS

Organic sesame seeds are grown in Sudan and some other African and Asian countries under rain fed area are all natural and are not hulled, they are grown free of any chemicals or pesticides. It is available in white color which known as “Gedarif” variety as for as red color and mixed sesame.

HIBISCUS FLOWER

The Sudanese natural hibiscus is made from an infusion of dried hibiscus calyxes which form at the base of flowers as they mature, these red calyxes are frequently used as a natural food coloring also make a delicious herbal drink and contains goods health benefits to the body.

GUM ARABIC

Characterized by: moisture content 12.14% optical rotation -25- -35 and foreign matter less than 3.5% Microbiological count for Salmonella, Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus is negative. The product is plentiful now and readily available for delivery commitments over the short and long term.

PEANUTS

Characterized by lease mold, least damage seed, appropriate size and moisture content. It can be used for different purposes such as snacks, making different candies, and oil production.

SORGHUM “DURA”

White sorghum, is used for food fit for human’s consumption, animal feed, and ethanol production. Specifications, varieties may not be mixed, moisture, 13% max, broken grains. 3% max, sprouted grains, 1% max, (consist matter, husks, deal insects and fragments of insects), tannin content, 0.5% max (on dry matter basis) and free of live weevils.
